Roger Poteet
Roger Poteet is the President of Poteet Printing Systems. Raised in the packaging industry, Roger’s early professional career included developing and marketing of high-performance flexographic printing on corrugated board. Those skills transferred into his time in the flexographic ink industry with BASF, Inmont, Sun Chemical, and Paper Packaging Inks.
Roger has consistently provided innovation to the industry with products and technology for print performance and color management. Contributions include training and industry support at various universities such as Clemson and Fox Valley, industry associations such as AICC and TAPPI, and has worked on multiple FFTA research projects to advance flexographic print performance.
Mark Sirota
Mark Sirota is co-founder of Poteet Printing Systems and is currently Vice President of Chemical Technology. He grew up in California and has degrees in Chemistry and Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Mark began his career at AJ Daw Printing Ink Company in 1975. He has been fortunate to have worked for and with industry pioneers such as Ron Ziegler, Jim Ely, and Darryl Sagraves. He has experience working at Sinclair Valentine, BASF, and Sun Chemical in a broad variety of technical and marketing roles.
Jeff Kennedy
Jeff Kennedy is the General Manager at Poteet Printing Systems leading daily business operations through efficiencies, leadership, quality, and safety. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Tusculum College and has over 27 years of production leadership experience with packaging industry leaders such as International Paper and PCA.
Jeff’s experience in and passion for large scale operations has contributed to process improvements, waste reduction, employee development, inventory cost management, and shipping efficiency at Poteet Printing Systems.
Hixon Boyd, MBA
Hixon Boyd is the National Sales Manager at Poteet Printing Systems managing the Regional Technical Managers and Technical Support Managers. He has his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Management from University of South Carolina and Master of Business Administration from Florida Southern College.
Hixon began working in ink sales and support in 1977 and has been in product development or sales management rolls ever since. He supports sales and technical efforts at Poteet Printing Systems by thoughtfully understanding and addressing customer needs and interacting with parties throughout client’s organization. He also personally manages select corporate accounts and is a recipient of the NAPIM Ink Pioneer Award.
Josh Kiser
Josh Kiser is the Technical Services Director at Poteet Printing Systems leading the Color Matching and Technical Laboratory Departments to achieve efficient, consistent, and repeatable ink products. His 19 years in manufacturing and printing include experience with industry leaders, such as Harper Corporation of America, and technical expertise in printing applications, anilox rolls, chemicals, and color matching equipment.
Josh graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Management. His certifications include Flexographic Technical Association Level III Implementation Specialist, Industrial Time Study Methods and Procedures, Six Sigma, and Kaizen Project Management.
